Texarkana College Brings Medical Residency Testing Closer to Home

Texarkana College Testing Center selected as a regional medical residency testing site

The Texarkana College Testing Center has been selected as a regional testing site for medical residents through a new partnership with Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM).

The Texarkana College Testing Center will provide medical residents with a secure, convenient location to complete required examinations closer to where they live and work.

A New Regional Testing Site for Medical Residents

A recently executed Memorandum of Understanding authorizes the Testing Center to administer secure examinations for COM medical residents, including physicians completing residency programs at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System.

The agreement expands Texarkana College’s role as a regional testing resource by providing identity verification, professional proctoring, and secure testing procedures that meet institutional and state standards.
