Texarkana Airshow 2026 Will Bring BBQ, Supercars, Live Music and Family Fun to the Airport

The Texarkana Airshow presented by Red River Credit Union, set for June 27, 2026, at Texarkana Regional Airport, will bring together competitive barbecue, supercar drives, a charity 5K, and a full concert lineup for a day-long celebration that is as uniquely Texarkana as the twin-state city itself. Families and visitors from Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas can expect a full day of summer entertainment, community celebration and high-energy experiences at the airport.

A Day of Family Entertainment at Texarkana Regional Airport

The centerpiece on the ground is a sanctioned barbecue competition organized in partnership with the Champions BBQ Alliance, featuring a guaranteed $10,000 payout. Pitmasters will compete in chicken, pork, ribs and brisket categories. A kids competition will give young aspiring cooks a chance to shine, while a Chef’s Choice competition will highlight creative entries during a special VIP event following the day’s main activities.

BBQ Competition Brings Pitmasters From Across the Region

“We’re thrilled to bring the Champions BBQ Alliance to the event with a guaranteed $10,000 payout,” said Gary Wortham, who is heading up the BBQ competition. “Pit Masters will be here from Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana participating in this cookoff. It’s going to be an incredible day of competition across chicken, pork, ribs and brisket, plus fun categories for kids and chefs that everyone can enjoy.”

For runners and spectators seeking a meaningful experience, the morning of the event includes a 5K run with a large portion of the course on an active runway. The race is hosted in partnership with For the Sake of One, a local nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and supporting children before, during and after foster care.

Runway 5K Supports Local Families and Foster Care Programs

“This race is more than just a unique experience — it’s an opportunity to come together as a community and support families who are navigating some of life’s hardest moments,” said Angela Coston, executive director of For the Sake of One. “At For the Sake of One, we believe that when families are supported and connected, lives are changed. Every step taken on that runway helps us continue walking alongside children and caregivers on their healing journey.”

Attendees will also have the rare opportunity to get behind the wheel of a high-performance supercar through Precision Exotics, which will allow guests to drive vehicles such as a Lamborghini or McLaren down the runway in a controlled environment.

Supercar Experiences and Live Music Add to the Celebration

“This is your chance to get behind the wheel of a real supercar and open it up down the runway,” said Eric Nelson, founder and president of Precision Exotics. “Whether it’s a Lamborghini or McLaren, you’ll experience the thrill of speed like never before in a safe, professional setting.”

The day includes a concert featuring Heather Lynn and the Deacons, Cam Allen and headliner Wade Bowen. Musical entertainment will begin at noon and continue until the main air entertainment begins at 4:30pm.

How to Get Tickets for the Texarkana Airshow 2026

Tickets for both airshow entry and parking are available now. Organizers are requiring tickets to be purchased in advance to help the event flow smoothly.

Parking will be available at the Four States Fairgrounds, with shuttles running to the event throughout the day.
