63rd Annual Kiwanis Pancake Day

The 63rd annual Kiwanis Pancake Day will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Truman Arnold Center at Texarkana College. All-you-can-eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs, along with orange juice, coffee, and milk will be served. Tickets are available at Murry Law Office, 3918 Texas Boulevard, Texarkana, Texas, or Unger Law Firm, 4608 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas.

Virtual 5K Paddle, Hike, Jog, or Bike

Opportunities, Inc. will host a unique Virtual 5K Paddle, Hike, Jog, or Bike event which was developed for the safety of participants, volunteers, staff, partners, and community to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Participants can choose from a 3+ mile hike, 10-15 mile bike ride or paddle at a local park, or a 5K jog. This virtual event encourages participants to live an active lifestyle and enjoy time exercising while supporting children and adults with developmental disabilities. Learn more.

TRAHC’s 28th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council, Inc.’s 28th annual Juried Student Exhibition will be held in the Regional Arts Center. The exhibition is open to all K-12th grade students within the Four States Area. Entries will be judged in three categories: Elementary division – K-4th grade; Middle School division – 5th-8th grade; and High School division – 9th-12th grade. Works will be showcased in the Regional Arts Center from May 16 – June 26. An awards reception will be held from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, May 16. Call 903-792-8681 for additional information.

Drive Out Hunger Golf Tournament

Harvest Regional Food Bank will host its inaugural Drive Out Hunger Golf Tournament at Northridge Country Club. Runnin’ WJ Ranch Benefit Barrel Race
