Moms, here’s your chance to head back to the ’80s. Friends for a Cause is hosting 2021 Girls Gift Away, a two-day overnight shopping event at the Texarkana Convention Center at 2910 South Cowhorn Creek in Texarkana, TX. The ’80s-themed event includes shopping on Friday and Saturday, along with entertainment and raffles. Learn more and buy tickets via their Facebook page.

The Literacy Council of Bowie & Miller Counties is hosting a Game Show & Drawdown featuring a chance to win $5,000 and the opportunity to play fun, Price is Right-style games with host Derrick Keener. Details and tickets are available at literacytxk.org.

Temple Memorial Pediatric Center will host its Annual Drawdown & Casino Night at Crossties, 324 East Broad St., Texarkana, AR, from 6-10 p.m. The event features dinner by Pop’s Place, beverages, and casino tables. The Texarkana Farmers Market (pictured) at 305 Texas Blvd. in downtown Texarkana, TX, is open Saturdays from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. through the end of July, as well as night markets and special events.
The Gateway Farmers Market at 602 East Jefferson Ave. in Texarkana, AR, is open from 7 a.m.-12 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Little River County Farmers Market takes place at 222 Frisco in Ashdown, AR, Mondays from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. until vendors run out. You can also find them in Downtown Foreman, AR, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m.
