2022 Texarkana Fall Festival & Trunk or Treat Guide

Some of our favorite fall memories with our kids happen at fall festivals, carnivals, Halloween parties, trunk or treats, and other fall and harvest-themed events, so we’re building a list of all of the kid-friendly fall events in the Texarkana area. If you know of one that isn’t on our list, please let us know!

Pumpkin Patch & Pumpkin Palooza

Pumpkin patch open daily Oct. 3-31; Pumpkin Palooza is Oct. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. | Texarkana

Pumpkin Patch at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church opens Sundays-Fridays from noon to dark and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to dark. Pumpkin Palooza is Oct. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. and features a free tailgate or treat and hayride. Games and food available; tickets $1 each.


Fall Market by HealthCARE Express

Sunday, Oct. 9, 3-7 p.m. | Texarkana
The Silvermoon on Broad

Vendors will showcase art, clothing, food and more at this free family-friendly event. $5 raffle tickets benefiting CASA will be sold at the door, and winners will be drawn throughout the afternoon. Learn more.


Movies in the Park

Oct. 13, 20 & 27 | Texarkana

Sponsored by HealthCARE Express, the Texarkana Texas Parks & Recreation Dept. brings scary favorites to Spring Lake Park this fall. Moves start at about 7 p.m.; bring chairs and snacks.

Oktoberfest On The Line

Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. | Texarkana
Downtown Texarkana

Presented by Farmers Bank & Trust, the inaugural Oktoberfest will feature a biergarten; gourmet hot dogs, sauerkrauts, and mustards; kindergarten with bouncy house, face painting and kids’ activities; local vendors, German car show, and more. Entertainment lineup of local performers including the Texarkana Regional Chorale and Grammy Award-winning polka band Brave Combo. Kids 12 and under are FREE. Learn more.


Food Truck Festival

Bobby Ferguson Park

This festival is dedicated to breast cancer survivors and remembering those who have lost their battle. Also, they will have a hot air ballons ride and a Glow Show. More information in 903.701.7040.

Malta Fall Festival

Malta Elementary School

Ennjoy of the games, food, and silent and live auction. This is a free event.


TSCP New Boston Special Needs Fall Fest

Tuesday, Oct. 18, 5-8 p.m. | New Boston, Texas

American Legion of New Boston

Annual free fall festival for the special needs community of the New Boston, Texas, area. Live DJ, fall goodie bags, free meal, and karaoke. All activities are free to all special needs, caregivers and immediate family members. For more information, contact Billy Hill at 903-720-5961. Learn more.

Texarkana Moose Riders Activity Group

There will be a chili cookoff, costume contest and a vendor table decor contest. Family friendly! Learn more.


Circle J Cowboy Church Fall Festival

Free Community Trunk or Treat

Saturday, Oct. 22 | Texarkana

Texarkana’s BEST After School & Summer Camp is hosting a free trunk or treat at 3494 Summerhill Road featuring a bounce house, vendors, costume contest, games, and tons of candy. All trunks and booths will be submitted into a decorating contest for a fun prize.
