TRAHC Speaker Series
January 20 & February 17
If your teen is interested in a career in the arts, the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council‘s new speaker series is a must. These free lectures by established artists in our community take place at 6:30 p.m. in Cabe Hall in the Regional Arts Center. Upcoming speakers include Joseph Raymond on Jan. 20 and Darlene Taylor on Feb. 17.
Masterworks III: Exotic Inspirations
February 5
Perot Theatre, 7:30 p.m. The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra brings jazz guitarist Ted Ludwig to the Perot Theatre stage. Repertoire includes Ravel, Sparr and Tchaikovsky. Make it a learning opportunity for the kids—come early at 6:40 p.m. to hear the conductor give a concert preview that includes interesting information and history pertaining to the evening’s performance. Kids Run the Line TOO

CHRISTUS St. Michael Imaging Center, 4 p.m. A friendly mile run/walk event that encourages kids ages 5-12 to recognize the importance of exercise. Proceeds benefit the Partnership for the Pathway. Learn more and sign up.
