The holidays are near so that means its time for family, fun, and lots of laughter! I wanted to create a guide that not only showcases events and activities in Texarkana, USA but also in our surrounding communities! We are so lucky to be able to take a short drive to such incredible and historical towns. I hope you take time to check these out!

Christmas Downtown
Dec. 14 11am-3pm
Fun for the whole family! This event features Christmas Carolers, Cider & Sweets, a petting zoo, and a pet parade! Santa and Mrs. Claus will stop by from 1pm-3pm. A Vintage Christmas Parade

Presented by TEXAR and the Atlanta Area Chamber of Commerce, this year’s Atlanta Area Christmas Parade is set for 5:30 PM on December 7th and it’s going to be magical! The theme is Vintage Christmas, so expect to see floats decked out with classic holiday charm. There will be candy thrown throughout the parade, and we’ll be awarding trophies for 1st Place Commercial and Non-Commercial Floats. information!

38th Annual Christmas and Candlelight
Dec. 13-14 1pm-9pm
Families will be in awe of the natural beauty that candlelit streets provide while taking a stroll through the historic village. Decorations, music, and more set the mood for this historic holiday experience. The homes of yesterday are adorned with historic period decorations and thousands of luminaries will light the streets throughout the town.
