Spring Lake Park is the heart and pride of the Texarkana, Texas park system. This 145-acre park features a spring fed lake, open green spaces with picnic areas, playground units, fishing piers and an 18 hole disc golf course. The 1.75 mile Phillip McDougal Walking/Biking Trail strolls throughout the entire park and is a favorite spot for the recreational or avid jogger. Spring Lake Park is also where you will hear the “crack of the bat” at the Swanger Sports Complex, home of the Texarkana, Texas Dixie Baseball League and Dobson Field, home of the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles Baseball team. We have two new additions to the park: The Rotary Splash Pad, where cool, wet fun is a much needed break in the hot summer days and the Kylee Sullivan-PetSafe Dog Park, for our canine companions to enjoy the great outdoors in a safe, secure location. The park is also ideal place to spend a Spring and Fall evening watching Movies in the Park offering new and classic releases. Bring your blanket, snacks, lawn chairs and settle in for an evening of entertainment. The park is located at 4303 North Park Road, between 40th Street and Interstate 30.
