Ashdown FFA Competes at Cougar Classic in Hope, Ark.

Ashdown FFA participated in the 5th annual Cougar Classic over the weekend, which was held in Hope. Lexi Neal won Reserve Champion Senior Showman in both rings along with Reserve Champion Market Lamb in Ring 2. Sam Ratliff won Champion Sr Showman in both rings along with Grand Champion market Lamb in Ring 1.

Lexi is a 10th grade student at Ashdown High School, and Sam is a 2021 AHS Graduate and will be attending Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas on a full paid livestock judging scholarship. Sam is able to continue showing with the AHS FFA through the fall since projects started while she was in high school.
